On 15 May 2025, Professor Vincent Kelly, Academic Director of the ARC Hub for Therapeutics, presented the Hub during the European Angel Investors Connect & Learn 2025 event, hosted by EIT Health Ireland–UK at Eastpoint Business Park, Dublin. His session, “ARC Hub – Ireland’s Spin-Out Commitment,” highlighted the Hub’s mission to accelerate the commercialisation of cutting-edge biomedical research and foster stronger links between academia, investors, and industry.
The event brought together angel investors, entrepreneurs, and innovation leaders from across Europe to discuss the future of early-stage investment in biotechnology and medical devices. Sessions explored value creation in healthcare, product lifecycles, regulatory pathways, and go-to-market strategies, with a focus on university spinouts and the commercialisation of deep tech IP.
Professor Kelly’s presentation showcased how the ARC Hub for Therapeutics aim to advance Ireland’s position as a leader in translational research, investment readiness, and the development of next-generation therapeutics.
