Prof. Corrado Santocanale is a Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of Galway (formerly NUI Galway). His research centres on DNA replication regulation, particularly the role of the CDC7 kinase in genome stability and cancer. With a PhD from the University of Milan and industry experience in oncology drug discovery at Nerviano Medical Sciences, he now leads translational programs combining chemical biology, CRISPR, and genomic screening to identify novel therapeutic targets.
