Associate Prof. Darren M. Griffith is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, specialising in medicinal inorganic chemistry and design of novel metal-based drug hybrids, including platinum-PROTAC compounds with applications in cancer therapy. His research portfolio includes multiple funded projects focused on targeted therapies and advanced drug design. In recognition of his mentoring excellence, Dr Griffith was awarded Mentor of the Year in 2024 by the SSPC, the Research Ireland Centre for Pharmaceuticals.
