Prof. G. Jane Farrar is the Head of School of Genetics and Microbiology at Trinity College Dublin and a leading expert in molecular genetics and gene therapy. Her research focuses on inherited retinal degenerations and the development of genetic therapies for ocular diseases. A Fellow of Trinity College Dublin and member of the Royal Irish Academy, she has co-founded biotechnology ventures translating academic research into therapeutic solutions.
