Prof. Luke A.J. O’Neill FRS is Chair of Biochemistry and a leading authority in immunology at Trinity College Dublin’s School of Biochemistry & Immunology. His work on the innate immune system, cytokines and metabolic reprogramming has driven breakthroughs in inflammation biology and novel therapeutic development. He was the founding Director of the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute and co-founded biotech ventures Inflazome and Sitryx. Recognised among the most-cited immunologists globally, his research continues to influence both fundamental biology and translational drug discovery.
