Prof. Padraic G. Fallon is a Professor of Translational Immunology in the School of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. Formerly a Wellcome Trust Fellow at the University of Cambridge, he returned to Ireland in 2001 to lead the Translational Immunology Group. His programme addresses key mechanisms of immune dysfunction and therapies for inflammatory diseases including asthma, eczema, inflammatory bowel disease and haemophilia, generating over €15 million in funding to date and publishing more than 200 peer-reviewed articles. Prof. Fallon has been ranked among the top 1% of cited immunologists globally and is a Fellow of Trinity College and Member of the Royal Irish Academy.
