Prof. Ulla G. Knaus is SFI Stokes Professor of Immunobiology at University College Dublin (UCD). She held a faculty position in the Department of Immunology in the Scripps Research Institute for 15 years before joining UCD in 2008. Prof Knaus is renowned for her contributions to immune-cell signalling and translational immunology. Her research focuses on innate and mucosal immune responses with a particular interest in understanding the role of reactive oxygen species and cytoskeletal regulation in inflammatory and infectious disorders.
