There is a growing need for new medicines to fight infections because many microbes are becoming resistant to existing drugs. While treatments for lung fungal infections exist, this project focuses on delivering medicine directly to the lungs through inhalation. This approach targets the infection where it happens, helps reduce side effects in the rest of the body, and can make the treatment more effective even against resistant fungi.
