Tumour hypoxia (lack of oxygen) is an important factor limiting the response to Radiotherapy, with up to 50%-60% of solid tumours being hypoxic. The aim of this project is to optimize and validate an innovative intra-tumoural treatment approach ‘VisOxE’ for addressing hypoxia in solid tumours with a view to improving clinical outcomes in Radiotherapy treatment.
