ARC Hub for Therapeutics Represents Ireland at Brussels Showcase Marking Start of Irish EU Presidency

Jul 1, 2026

The ARC Hub for Therapeutics was proud to represent Ireland at Tionscnamh agus Táirgí na hÉireann, a flagship showcase event held in Brussels to mark the beginning of Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026.

The event was hosted by the Irish Delegation to the Irish Regions European Office, in partnership with Ireland's Regional Assemblies, and brought together European policymakers, regional representatives and innovation leaders. It celebrated the innovation, talent and ambition emerging from every region of Ireland, and highlighted how European Commission investment continues to deliver real impact for communities, businesses and researchers across the country.

Selected as one of the projects to represent Ireland at the event, the ARC Hub for Therapeutics showcased the impact of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in supporting research, innovation and regional development. The occasion offered a valuable platform to exchange ideas and strengthen connections between Ireland and its European partners.

The reception provided an important opportunity to introduce the ARC Hub for Therapeutics concept to a European audience and to highlight the vital role that start-up companies play in advancing therapeutics innovation and driving growth within the Irish economy.

Representatives from the ARC Hub extended their thanks to the Southern Regional Assembly, the Irish Regions European Office, and the European Committee of the Regions for organising the event and for the opportunity to represent Ireland's therapeutics innovation ecosystem on the European stage.

The event forms part of a wider programme of activities marking Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026, showcasing the country's regional innovation strengths to a European audience.
