Dr Araz Raoof, Executive Director of the ARC Hub for Therapeutics, participated in a high-level meeting of European Research and Innovation Ministers, hosted by Minister James Lawless TD at Dublin Castle during Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The informal meeting brought together ministers, policymakers and research leaders from across Europe to discuss key priorities for the future of European research and innovation, including strengthening collaboration, supporting competitiveness and accelerating innovation across the European Research Area.
Engagement in discussions such as these highlights the importance of collaboration at both national and European levels in building a stronger, more connected and competitive research and innovation landscape.
