Prof. Catherine Godson is a Professor of Molecular Medicine at University College Dublin and Director of the UCD Diabetes Complications Research Centre. Her internationally recognised research explores the molecular pathways driving inflammation, diabetes, and cardiovascular and kidney diseases. She has held research positions in Switzerland and the United States and has served as Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at UCD. A Fellow of the Royal Irish Academy, Professor Godson’s work contributes to global efforts in translational medicine and chronic disease prevention.
