SBI co-founder Prof. Boris Kholodenko (MRIA), SFI Stokes Professor of Systems Biology and Adjunct Professor at Yale University, is one of the world leaders in systems biology. He has made major contributions to developing and integrating computational modelling with experimental research to identify new therapeutic approaches for cancer, and has recently translated these advances into clinical trials. He pioneered several influential methods, including MRA and cSTAR (published in PNAS and Nature), which provide insights into cell-signalling dynamics to guide therapeutic strategies.
